I've done the calipers, making sure the grooves of all seals are nice and smooth and clean. Does it look like I have done the main seal for the piston OK? If I push the piston back as far as it will go the seals begins to flop over the front of it...

I ran the sealant around the kingpin then fitted and tightened the bolts.
The piston only needs to go flush to allow new pads to be fitted and the dust seal looks grand to me.

Great! I ran the sealant round the kingpins and the bolt holes too.

The long drive shaft had virtually no grease in the CV joint and amongst the ball bearings. Also I notice this play when lightly pulling on the joint. Is this OK, should I just pack with grease and go? I wondered if it might have something to do with the shimmy at 45-50 mph...

Also because the car is on a slight leftwards incline, the axle oil (yellow fluid) drips out slightly. Could that have washed out the grease in the CV joint?
