Having put a few tanks of fuel through mine now and adjusted my driving slightly I'm getting around 37mpg.

My Jimny is new with no iron work or mods, its first full tank with mixed motorway and A roads was 326 miles which averaged 37mpg. I think I could have squeezed a few more miles out of it.

How is everyone with a standard Jimny getting such high MPG?
I have a standard one (well has a lift and a CB but don't think either of them make much difference) and I get 30MPG all day long, doesn't seem to matter whether I am doing motorway or town. How on earth are some getting nearly a third more?
I know every car is different and all driving styles are different but surely they should be more similar?

My old 2006 vvt Jimny would do 315 miles to a tank of fuel in its standard form, when I put General grabbers at2s 205/75/15 on it the range dropped dramatically to 275 miles. It's a bit of a trade off when you start to modify them.
