I forgot to mention that I had also put a petrol additive in my fuel tank. The one I used is Wynns (spelling?) so maybe that also made a difference.

Even if l used red bull my jinmy would still only got 26 to the gallon

Don't forget if your speedo is out from fitting bigger tires then your mpg will also be inaccurate.
