Rather than start a new thread ive posted in here.
Just done the mpg calcs on my 2013 Jim.
Im getting 37mpg which is better than I thought it would be prior to the second fill.
Drives have ranged from motorway at 70 to moor lanes/hills and to the shopping runs etc.
I could squeeze a few more out of each gallon but that would mean slowing down etc so no it wont happen.

Wine improves with age.
The older I get the more I like it

I was under the impression that the Jimny was one of the more economical 4X4s. Yes I kniw economy and 4x4 don't go together. I only drive autos from choice so have learned to accept the mpg penalty but my other fourbie is a diesel 2.5L and only gets around 22mpg around town though it gets 30ish on a good run, so I appreciate the saving. Also petrol is cheaper to buy so I save there too.

yer mine the same 12 to 16mpg not good i can get more mpg out of my 300bhp civic type r

supergaz wrote: I get 12-15mpg if i'm lucky :-( I tow mine behind a shogun which uses less fuel.

My new spark plugs have improved efficiency, but not clocked it yet, and don't plan on filling the tank as my jimny is not a daily driver, except when she is out and I don't want to use my works van.
