Looking good
Perhaps except for that winch mount. Why is it mounted so low ?

The bottom of the winch is level with the bottom of the chassis rails - as it would be on a Land Rover. Thus, when it's pulling, the forces are directly in line with the chassis.
I think it looks worse in those photos because of the angles but there is about 14" of clearance under the winch and the front of the vehicle has an 85 degree departure angle - so it could almost climb a vertical wall.

The other thing I suppose is that the previous owner added a 3" body lift - so on a standard vehicle the winch would be cut into the bonnet by 3" to sit at the same height.

Had another good day at Slindon yesterday - where I bumped into Goat Boy! I tried very hard to break it - but it was still running at the end of the day which is quite unusual for me!
The Fox Air Shox need a bit more pressure as it was bottoming out occasionally. I wanted it as low as possible to keep the C of G low - but over did it a bit. The exhaust rattles terribly, hitting the gearbox cross member - but I'm going to replace that section with flexible pipe which will hopefully be a better fit.
When the engine is hot - I get a bit of a misfire at low rpm. It's not showing any faults on the ECU. I wonder if it's the cam position sensor though I've replaced it once already as it was showing a fault. Maybe buying a patterned part was a mistake?
Any of you know if I can order a genuine sensor on line somewhere? My local Suzuki dealer is worse than useless!
