Soeley that piggy back spade connector is genius. Keep going Andy!

*edit* Just noticed the ciggy lighter does have male spades - but the wire connector is shrouded. I'm sure Soeley could confirm, but in my eyes the least intrusive way to tap into that would be to make up two small lengths of equal gauge adapter wires. So no chopping!

2 off adapter wires. Approx. 50mm in length, each wire: 1 x piggy back female to pick up on the ciggy lighter, 1x male to mate with the factory connector. Hey presto. :woohoo:

Guys you know how rubbish i am at electrics lol, but one thing i got going for me is that im a FAST LEARNER  :silly:

Soeley or DAGZOOK would you kindly write me a shopping list LMAO..... Wire sizes and connectors are not my strong point.

I have done something for myself though. Ive ordered a little nifty toggle switch so i can turn off the winch swittlch on my dailey drives, and ive also ordered a battery isolation switch just as a saftey cut off incase i need to cut power from the terminals. Its also to stop someone hacking my winch.

What would i do without ya!!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYou make me laugh Andy.

Shopping list:

- 1.5mm2 single core cable rated at around 12-14amp assuming your ciggy lighter feed is on a 10 amp fuse? if not drop down to 1.0mm2 which is rated at about 8-9amp, Just make sure the fuse will adequately protect the conductor you select. I'd probably buy a few meters of each as it's so cheap. You may or may not need to extend the WARN remote live cable. Go red and black. You can match the OE cable colours if you wish, keep the job even more stealthy. So long as you keep to a standard colour code convention for L/N.

- Piggy back, and male spade crimps. You'll need to measure your O.E spade size to select the right width spades! I'd probably order Red and Blue crimp size and select the best fit for the gauge of cable you're using. Should be blue, but not 100% sure what gauge the O.E cable is - they're pence anyway. Nothing worse than a loose wobbly crimp!!

- Crimping tool, assuming you haven't got one already..

Not sure what kind of Inline switch/isolator you've bought for the main battery cables, But send us some pictures later on down the line if you need help figuring out a method to tap them in.

I would add a cheap multimeter and some electric tape and 400A fuse.
