Thanks lambo for your opion and thoughts. It is appreciated and before i go ahead with anything I will be taking everyones expertise and asking around some suppliers who have already fitted this type of winch. A wealth of experience on this forum and its gold!!

Thanks buddy!

If it's a standard 8-10mm spade bit, a less intrusive method of Joining your remote live would be to remove the factory spade crimp, twist both live tails together and crimp on a new spade connector. No splicing/Wago required B)

Great idea! Gonna go have a butchers in a vit.

Thabks for your help everyone and thabk you Dagzook:)

Even less intrusive, if it is a standard spade connector would be to crimp a piggy back spade connector onto the Warn wire?
Piggy Back that way no need to cut of the factory spade connector.

Mate.... getting to the front ciggie wire is a nightmare! It seems like a lot of panelling has to be removed. I gave it 20 mins and gave up. Could have a better go tomorrow. However.... the rear ciggie port is much more accessavle but a looong ways away from where i need it.

I like the piggyback idea, but at this moment ive found the rear ciggie port cable running along my passenger door sill. My flashy screwsriver thingybaabobby has just given up the ghost (Typical) so im trying to assertain which wire is the live, is it blue or black??? You have 2 minutes before this bomb blows!!! Help!!!

A piccy of the bomb defusing op.

Andy, just been out to the garage to take some pictures. Five minute job once you know how.

Remove the coin tray

Remove push rivet either side.

Remove small panel just left of the steering column. Put fingers between column and panel and pull.

Release top edge of switch panel by pulling down then pull the lower side up and out.

Really don't know why it is rotating my pictures?
