That's a good idea. ;) it only smokes on startup (like a coal power station chimney) so I think it is oil seeping into the cylinder(s) overnight and I don't know if Slick 50 will fix that - what do you think?

not sure if anything would fix it m8, but slick 50 is worth a try ;)

It's going out of sight in box sections so could be any colour I guess; if they did a discount for pink I'd use that..........when it gets done. I might drop the motor if it fails the MoT. :(

I found a 5mm hole had been drilled in the sill top under the passenger kickplate fairly well forward so I opened that to 12mm with a reamer and opened out the rearmost lug hole for the kickplate so it is now held by two lugs. The person that said the tin on these is really weedy is dead right and you need to drill with care.

On the driver's side I opened out the middle lug hole and made another hole farther back so leaving two lug holes intact. As far as the sills go I am ready to inject the fluid. :)

They turned out to be ideal thanks. I am happy now as I have coated inside the inner and outer sill. ;)

Quick question on this please gents - are there drain holes in the sills / door bottoms etc. to let water out, that need to be kept clear? Or can you just literally fill the sills up completely with waxoyl type stuff?

Cheers.
