Any things an improvement on 49mph
But like Sponnie Im running on 33s (special tracks infact) so your suggestion of a possible 64mph at 3000rpm is more than I would be needing, I think my bottle would go any over 60mph.
Re breaking things I am running chromo 4340 SJ front axle and ARB front diff, std jimny rear axle and ARB diff. If I break the front axle I would be surprised as Gazwell was running a 2.5v6 vitara motor for two seasons on these axles, on a challenge truck :woohoo:

Isuzu engines come in a 1.5 na 1.5 turbo 1.7 na and a 1.7 turbo intercooled they come out of astras cavaliers few early vectras n/a versions are mainly in vans not that easy to come by since the ruddy goverment scrapage scheme
Theres plenty of GM diesels around of the same era but they are rubbish has to be the Isuzu unit
