They may have a local radio "expert" who they'll get in.
At the worst they'll have to replace the radio.
It's not a difficult job to remove the radio in the new Jimnys and there is a guide.
I wouldn't touch it because of the warranty but if you really don't have any faith in your local dealer possibly you could take it somewhere yourself and take a copy of the guide to show them??

If they did decide to replace it possibly you could pay the extra and opt to get a decent radio fitted??

Not tried this dealer before but I have been bitten in the past so to speak. It was the trim removal I was worrying about but seems simple enough. You have put my mind at rest. I may even buy another radio to replace the Clarion. I have seen Android units on eBay at a decent price with built in Bluetooth etcetera. Don't know if anyone has had any experience of them though? Thanks again for the link to the guide. I searched for ages but couldn't find one

Not sure. I'm not with the car until tomorrow. The wifey phoned me up at work to let me know

The Jimny aperture has round edges so you either need a trim or another facia with square corners.
There have been plenty of posts on the subject and Suzuki used to offer a facia and radio as an official "extra" but you could check through your dealer.
In the meantime try this link when you've got a spare half hour or so

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)
