I think JimnyGlenn definitely has OCD and is looking for a radio that has rounded edges and is a direct fit into the facia B)

The switch "blank" on the r/h side makes a good place to drill /mount stuff as it can be easily replaced.

The satnav aerial wire can be routed under the dash and up/into the outside edge where the dash meets the door.

There are plenty of wires/cables behind/under the dash where you can cable tie your new wires to.
The dash panel just above the pedals just pulls off so can be removed for more access.
I presume as it's a new car you don't want to mess it up?? lol

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis is a typical fascia as sold on ebay uk

This is also available although I think the image is a generic one as the large fascia plate appears to be for something else??

Basically I would get or decide which head unit you want and check the size then find out if the trims on sale will fit as there are a few different head sizes.

It's even possible to get a single din fascia adapter and you could have a flip out style head and usually a pocket underneath to fill the double din gap.

Halford (and others) have investigated and posted a few answers on the subject of stereos etc.

If you really want a dvd/sat nav unit then you are going to have to bite the bullet and either fit it yourself or get a radio fitter to do it for you and then you'll have some comeback if it's not right or rattles lol

The kits linked above are quite expensive. My Suzuki trim was on £40 odd pounds and the cage I used is available off the shelf in Halfords for £30.

For stuff like the cage and the wiring loom adapter, use Halfords price match promise. No longer needs to be within 20 miles of the store (jump onto the web site for all the details). Basically I found another shop who was selling the autoleads bits cheaper and got the same deal from my local Halfords.

If you decide to change the head unit and need help with part numbers give me a shout, also I'm sure I have a couple of spare 103mm double din mounting cages available that I'll be happy to sell on if anyone is interested.
