Just received it and it's to fit the 100 x 178 standard size.

Just got to find a cheap head unit now

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

The 100 x 178 is that the front plastic surround on a head unit or the metal casing?

It's this one.
It allows you to fit a standard 100 x 178 universal head unit to the standard Jimny dash

As it's made by XTRONS I presume an xtrons head unit or similar Chinese one.

Just picked up a generic double din head unit on ebay which had never been fitted as it didn't fit the car it was bought for.
It's the type that has the cd/dvd slot behind a tilting screen.
The SD and GPS slots are also there.
The leads etc. are all still in sealed bags so it is "as new".
How much I hear you ask??
£85 ....bargain or what?
I'll let you know how the fitting goes as well as the trim plate I bought.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)
