But why would you want that on a jimny? Makes no sense as there's no need for a locked centre diff on a Jimny as front and rear diffs are locked together when in 4H or 4L.

The only reason for a central diff would be so you can drive in 4wd on the road. The jimny effectively has a locked central diff already because the t-box locks the front to the rear

Yes but you can still lose traction by spinning one wheel on an axle as an open diff will tend to send
power to the easiest route or path of least resistance. A locker or LSD in the diff solves this problem.
I know the Jimny has no centre diff but other things I have owned have.

He doesn't he just said he misses it from his other motors that he has had in the time he has been able to drive :)

Now you're talking about two different things. A Centre diff and a diff locker. And yes of course. Any 4x4 will benefit from a diff locker.
