could just make a simple second battery tray as I have above and run 2 batteries plenty of room on the passenger side

I would love to have a simple winch just for self recovery, but have no idea what I need and where to start?! Shame really would be nice to have one -_-

ORA do a winch mounting plate that goes behind the bumper, then pick a winch, second battery is preferably (jimny bits do a battery tray, youll need thick wires and an isolator switch for the winch.............theres pleanty of info on here regarding winches was a thread not to long ago.
