Fried the clutch a little a couple of weeks ago backing out of a lane I thought was too muddy - (now I know better, would have walked it!!!!) Since then I have a short squeal when setting off from stand still, never happens any other time. Could this be t box mount gone?
Also have a squeal when wet (usually deep puddles / fords , not so much when raining) This has happened since a full service by the main stealer a few of years ago ( I'll never make that mistake again!). Thought it was a loose belt but belts seem fine and it stops when I dip the clutch. Could this be knackered clutch plates? Its only done 43K miles!
