Prob the biggest crock of shit I have read since some plank on here told me that a 200 TDI shit box discovery engine could smash a Volvo C303 portal axle
about time people started writing about fact and no ruddy fiction
How would you suggest adjusting the lock stops would prevent this g wagon cv failure?

Grow up!
I wasn't suggesting they are crap of that you should take them off,
Your just deluding yourself (and others) insisting that they are a superior axle than the 80 series cruisers.
At what point did i suggest they were better than 80 series axles then mate ive re read the thread and i dont see it

Just out of interest to pick up on someone else's point. What vehicle was this broken CV in when it broke please?
Many thanks.

Dave cc wrote: way i see it my truck weighs less that 1/2 of a G wagon has a shit less power than the AMG gwagon and is sittin on the same axles and i do have mechanical sympathy
The AMG's are all 463 models that have larger front diffs and cv's
The back axles are bloody tough! i've never broken anything in the rear.
The front axle sadly is toffee! and the only fix are New shafts and cv's from RCV
