With the sj hubs you need the 10mm spacer to make them fit,

Once you have that, its litterally the case of unbolt the vacum hubs,

Then bolt your manual hubs using the spacer, make sure your hubs come with the cone washers if not they are available on jimny bits

Other people have then removed vacum lines and blocked holes to stop water/dirt ingress i have left them alone to keep the dirt out

Its a really simple job, but the manual hubs are worth their weight in gold

Thanks. That is really helpful and it looks like a very doable job. Do you know if the Vitara 1600 ones will fit? Thanks for the link to jimnybits. I can't find a spacer supplier now.

Yes Vitara hubs fit & you still need the spacer ring.
