Think you just go onto the original post and theres a delete button where the reply button is.
The cat is the fat bit your on about. There is 2 cats, one straight after the exhaust manifold and one under the car (the main one). My manifold cat broke up and blocked the main cat.

What year is it? early models had one cat, from 2005/6 onwards they had two, one in the exhaust manifold. It won't be the lambda sensor, it doesn't have that much effect.
Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

if so that has been changed could it be the lamda sensor?

Yeah it's a 2001 or 2002 whatever x reg is.
I guess I can take the cat of the old engine, as i know
The one one the exhaust is good as just bought it.
In any anyway there are two sensors going into to bit on the exhaust
One straight after (possibly the problem) and one at the bottom (new)
And been functioning with old engine.

There is also a rattling noise like something is clunking about
I thought something was broken in the engine but could be coming
From the cat I guess.

Id also say you have a blocked exhaust some where the cat may have broken up and blocked the pipe causing back pressure
And heat unbolt the joint after the cat and see if its still inthere or broken
an x reg is a year 2000
is it a single or twin cam engine cos im sure thay changed over around that year
also on this forum you have to make sure you put all the facts about your car cos some people jump in ass first and can lead you down the wrong path due to not having all the facts

Mines a 2002 and it had a cat/silencer at the manifold, this is what broke up on mine and ruined the center cat. I smashed the rest of the honeycomb out of the manifold cat thing and replaced the center cat. If you have a bulge straight after the manifold id check there to.
