I had a friend suffer serious injuries because his girlfriend's dad had changed a front wheel bearing and not torqued it up correctly. The bearing seized at 70mph, they lost control had a big crash. There are lots of jobs on a car you can bodge and get away with, but front wheel bearings aren't an area I'd take any risks with! Buying the correct tool and a torque wrench is still cheaper than sending it to a garage, and you can do it properly every time.

Don't sound good, hope everyone was ok! How did a new bearing seize?

I suspect it was over-tightened but not entirely sure.

If you're feeling really rich you could have a genuine Suzuki one for the later models, these have 6 pins on -
