No MOT:( was created by jonesyba420
just discovered ive been driving with no MOT since the 10th Dec
have seen loads of police around in their cars and have yet to be pulled over so shows how on it they really are (especially when i live fairly near a major(ish) police station)!! although from past experience (driving 8 months with no mot,let off with a slapped wrist) im not supprised really
will be gettin it MOTed (at a garage my misses worked at) tomorrow so fingers crossed

will be interesting to see how it gets on with no ARB, leaky kingpins and wheel bearings that are starting to sound abit knackered
hopefully it passes specially on top of x-mas!!!

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
Bellerophon (2024 grello van daily
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
With respect that is hardly a responsible attitude to take with regards to your and others safety is it? as motorists we have a duty of care to keep our cars in a road worthy condition all year not just for the annual test.

My thoughts exactly, but immature and narrow minded, no wonder it costs me so much to insure 1 with an attitude like that, and it's nothing to brag about especially on a forum

If you saw some of the things that will pass an mot or how clueless some customers are too the condition of their car, you would appreciate that somebody missing an mot by little over a week is hardly relevant to your insurance costs.
Also let's not forget he spends a lot of time under the car carrying out work himself therefore has much higher chance of noticing, appreciating and understanding the condition of the vehicle and what is safe and what isn't.
And has a proffesional to refer to if he is unsure of anything.
The people that make our roads dangerous are the ones that get a ticket then don't do a damn thing to the car for another 365 days! Or the ones that don't even know how to fill a washer bottle let alone assess the condition of the tyres they're driving on!
