I have had a centre locking diff and a air locker in at least one axle on most of the things I have driven off road for the last 15 years.
I was not saying fit one in a Jimny, just that it was very affective in other vehicles I have driven.

If the shocks are longer that only exacerbates the issue. Axle droop is useless if there is no pressure pushing the wheel down. You are joking about the centre locking diff bit, right?
