If this doesn't work you may have dislodged or damaged something??

It doesn't look like it's damaged or missing something. Only the connection of wires (plug) was fixed.

you can reset he computer by simply disconnecting the battery. try that. I haven't had to deal with the electrical 4wd system on a jimny but on a modern shogun, my god is it a bastard. should really get a mechanic with a dealer level code scanner to have a look. he should be able to tell you whats wrong. This is why i have a older jimny, everything's mechanical

It's not a computer reset, its to get the motors into sync, I will see if I can find it
