Thanks a lot everyone for the replies! Sorry some of yours are in really bad condition.... I would be somewhat shocked if I revealed a hole quite that size Ollie 
I will poke around and clean the areas around the hole from UNDERneath as well and hope it's only localised as it appears to be from the top, but I cannot access a few of the hole from underneath due to being covered by other bits. I suppose the cost of repair will be very high if the shop has to remove parts of the car to get access.
minibbb I am near enough to Eastbourne yes, could you let me know the details of the shop? I might just use a shop for the big hole at the rear which goes up slightly into the rear sill and the others I'll repair myself with meticulous cutting, scrubbing, prepping, filling, sanding and painting.

It's car services on birch road, Eastbourne. You want to speak to Paul there- drop me a pm if you want his number. He welded a fair few patches in for me and was about £80 IIRC and he did a great job. Is yours a daily or going to use for laning?
