How solid is the replacement? Might sound weird but I checked mine the other day (took it off an inspected it). It was intact but I thought it was a bit soft. I could move the gearbox about if I pushed it by hand but I don't know if that's normal or not.

or has it cured it
I've heard that the noise associated with the mount is more of a buzz at higher revs (i.e. 4000 rpm in 1st gear)
thanks

Ninecherries- much more solid than the old one I removed! The old one was knackered and flexing a lot!
Halford- the groan seems to have stayed put! Maybe slightly improved but still there im afraid!
