Would a faulty gearbox mount cause stiff gear changes?

Thanks matey, is that to take off the gear-lever from above? The garage did the clutch change but I think the gear change is stiffer now it's been done.

yes it is from the inside of the car it has this bush since it is with links and not sitting streight to the gearbox

Further the plastic bush. It seats right into the linkage and is shaped to take the ball end of the stick. If you are not aware that it is there it can be dislodged and as previous overtightened. You could have saved yourself £20 by ordering from Estonia. It is the original item!

Well my mate changed the mount for me today- safe to say the old one was knackered!


First and reverse seem a bit easier to engage. Need to investigate the bush in the gearbox re the stiffer gear changes.
