I'm taking all the gears apart and checking all the cogs and bearings individually just to make sure before it all goes back on, i'll let you know if i find anything and put up some pics

When i emptied the oil i found this attached to the drain plug magnet

After inspecting the gearbox again i found that one of the bearings had failed on the top as you can see here, it was on the underside so easily missed

I'm so glad that it was on the top so i didn't have to strip all the cogs and bearings out, heres a pic of it removed and turned over

I wont go to the dealer for the bearing because they'l have my pants down, so i'll go to my local bearing specialist tomorrow and it should only cost me about a tenner? Then i can get the motor back on the road/off road

I don't know if you can see where its broken very well in the pic but its just under my index finger, I'll also fit a new clutch as the one thats on is dead anyway, I hope this helps anyone else with the same problem, thanks
