We got into this little pickle with a substantial thump to the front with no air bags going off! We had been going quite quickly to get up the hill and then didn't turn left!

Can I ask how an MOT tester would know if the Air Bags were in the car or not ? I know in the Jimny they are pretty easy to spot but would you get under the dash to check ?

After market steering wheels plus there may be airbag/srs writen on the passenger side of the dash and also may have an air bag turn off key switch and all new cars have them and when looking under the dash at the pedal box and steering collum all air bag wireing is in yellow split tubing
