Hopefully there's three pictures attached! This plug has never been connected. I think it's impossible to mix the plugs and connectors up for the other connections as there all unique.

I'll just point this out...

DETAILS are important - you have a different model, different year, different engine AND a 2 wire plug, his is 3 wire, so different plug.

His wire colors match the cam position sensor wiring, the cam position sensor is in that general location, if it's not connected the engine will crank but not fire.

I've provided information on how to get codes from an OBDI vehicle, if the cam position sensor on an OBDI vehicle is not connected it should set a code 42.

I'll just point this out - I've got a plug that's unconnected - The OP has a plug that's unconnected, my reasoning was it may help. My unconnected plug doesn't stop mine starting or doing 75 mph on the motorway, did Suzuki really make there wiring looms with unconnected plugs everywhere ? 2

What is my unconnected plug for ?

None of my advice has endangered anyone, put any vehicles at risk, it's me chucking my 2p in. I don't like your attitude which is why this forum isn't for me anymore.

OP good luck getting your Suzuki running.

And in the same spirit, @fordem pointed out some relevant additional information.  Relax.
