Hi ,I think you may have sorted this problem out, I took the cam sensor out to find it is broken at the bottom, were a connector should fit, I'll send for a new one and let you know, I'm sure this is it.

Fitted the new cam sensor and bingo, all go's well, it took a bit of time to get the fuel through. Running fine now, I must have to thank you a million times, I would probably never looked for the problem there. Thanks once more. , wayne.

You're welcome, and you're the person who identified the problem as that loose connector, I only helped you find where it belonged.

Ok, the engine now runs fine, but with a very high idle speed, I think the throttle body adjuster could be stuck, I'll take off tomorrow and look, but all else good.

Check for vacuum leaks, possible hoses not reconnected, maybe for the front hub vacuum systems - that's an area I have no experience with, I just know they are vacuum operated.

Thanks, so when I tap the throttle body when engine running it readjusts the idle speed I think it's freeing off, seems to be ok now. Thanks again.
