1066, if the suspension is stiff enough to reduce body roll on road it will definitely be reducing the articulation you get off road compared to standard springs.

Articulation is fine offroad. :) I think the main reason for the on road improvement is that the original
springs and dampers were way past there best.

By fine do you mean worse than standard but still acceptable?

Better than standard. Apart from the ground clearance, the firmer springs help to keep
the jimny more under control especially when going down hill at an angle. With a lot of the
weight on one front wheel with the diagonal rear one going a bit light. :)

Hope that makes sense, i dont know how else to describe it.

That just sounds like stiff suspension. You can't have stiffer springs AND more articulation, and it's articulation that keeps the tyres on the ground, giving you the traction you need to get places.

Never said the articulation was better, just good. :P
If you are on a steep decent and have no option but make a turn, the last thing you need
is the vehicle wallowing about on over soft springs.
On the level lots of flex is better for traction, but the places that i go are far from level.

Your hypothetical situation is not something I've ever witnessed or would consider a priority. A sports car would be best in that situation, but as with everything there is a compromise to be met!
