Thanks folks,

I was thinking of a new axle for it alright but where would the best place to find one of them be?

I know a company who do welding for the construction company i work for, they may be able to do it for me for nothing ;)

I've got a few quotes for an axle, £185 is the lowest - so far, what would the cost be to fit it.

Any thoughts on the 4wd not working and the light flashing - is that a big job to fix, the whole reason i bought it is for the 4wd in the winter!

Whereabouts are you? I have an axle casing, or I think I have a full axle. Is yours a manual? Judging by the rusty I'd also so your front vac pipes will be rotten. Either replace or fit manual hubs.
