You need to notch ends where they fit to other tubes what tube bender are you going to use or are you talking about a pipe bender ie a bottle jack and former in a frame ?
top picture is pipe bent in a cheap bending frame as machine mart sell 2nd picture CDS tube bent in a pro bend 105 also tube cannot be bent in the cheap benders pipe can sort of but results vary hugely due to the diffence in quality of the pipe

Who's talking about FIA?
You don't need FIA approved rollcage for any type of competition we do. But most must follow MSA regs.
Think I was a bit wrong though. It's 45x2,5 or 3,0 mm, can't remember. Or better yet 50x2 mm. But much harder to bend.

You'll need to come up with some more details. But in general, no. Not suitable for rollcage use. But if it's just for a simple external cage to protect the body, it's fine. Just not good enough for a cage to protect you and others. For that you'll need CDS tubing 45 x2 mm or T45 tube.
