Winch cut of switch location? was created by S Mark
HI folks I have just fitted a new winch behind my standard front bumper and would like to fit a isolator/cut of switch and I am in some need for inspiration as to were to locate it. I like the idea of keeping the bumper a a quick release for play days. So should I take the easy option and put it under the bonnet? We're is yours located?

It is all fused but I wasn't shore if I needed the switch to be accessible from the outside in case the winch solenoid sticks on and it needs to be isolated. This happened to a friend he had no switch we had to pull the power cable off before the winch chewed itself up. Very scary at the time.

That looks very smart, mine is operated wirelessly but my second battery is under the bonnet so in the hopefully unlikely event of a sticky solenoid would be a bit of a panic to get to it.
