Of course stopping means you run the risk of getting bogged down again.

good idea, length of rope long enough to reach from front to back with some carabiners on to hook them to the tie down points simples.

Mine are held on with the same type of ladder clamp and they never move an inch

jonesyba420 wrote: thats the thing i never know when i might pop out for abit of laning but dont want some d#*$ to steal them off my roof!!

yea it is cheap and they do cheaper ones which are not quite as long.

was thinking of using THESE and just cutting the thread down to just long enough, and maybe flatten the "wing nut" abit. id put the waffle boards next to each other with the clamps in between, then i can lock them on and less fiddly to get off when needed as its only 2 nuts to undo ;)

Just be careful with bungies. If you brake hard the inertia might make them shift around as the boards are quite heavy.

They seam pritty solid... Also the only way they can fall off is by going backwards.. I dont think the little Jim has the acceleration to do that! haha

I understand how they will be held down now!

Jerseyjimny - just be careful the roughness of the waffle boards doesn't wear through the bungees.
