Its not the going thats a problem its when you HAVE to emergency stop that gets ya!! Brakes are shite they lock up way to easy IMO resulting in you sliding down the road in a cloud of tire smoke 
I run mud tyres and unless its icy or snow you have to try very hard to drift it,normal driving (like you nan) is fine.
