I zip around in mine but have never had the feeling it is going to roll over. Like everyone has said before, it's not designed for throwing around corners.

If you roll it, its the drivers fault, not because the Jimny is unsafe.

Me too - and really enjoy that - I guess you either 'get' the Jimny or you don't.

Takes a bit to get the back end out on a Jim if you have decent tyres cos they dont go quick enough most of the time, but I managed it on a diesel spill a couple of years ago - and boy does it snake! Cost me a front bumper and wing but it was on standard Duellers.
I am most used to LWB vans so the speed at which the back end comes round if iot does slide was an eye opener cos of the short wheelbase. With a transit you can drift it no problem, the Jim just swipes you when it goes in comparison. The 110 landy guys should be having a blast drifting it all the time!
70+ on long motorway trips has never been a problem for me but I am used to the noise of a big van so the Jim is quiet in comparison. I think noise is more of a limiting factor for most drivers than actual vehicle capability, provided you dont watch the fuel guage!
If it sounds fast then it seems fast. On my "speed awareness" course, the best advice the idiots (sorry, tutors) could give on not getting caught again was to drive everywhere in 3rd gear cos the engine noise makes it seem lke you are driving faster than you really are!
