And I make it harder by going automatic. I have to say one of the reasons I have kept my Pajero so long is that it is a very hard act to follow, to me it is the one that ticks all the boxes and some are dirt cheap these days too. I spent ages coming to the conclusion it was the right one for me; apart from the 25+mpg it is the perfect 4x4.

Yes! That exact model

At work we have a Shogun and an Outlander. We couldn't buy a Pajero because the insurance company refused to give us business insurance on an import. The Outlander would be great apart from its 10mm ground clearance and crappy plastic stone-guards.

i have worked in the motor trade as a tech since 1978 ,fiat has not been the best vehicles with rust and problems , the new panda 4x4 looks very nice and i have had a good look over it as the dealer where i got my Jimny sells them but i would not buy my one as the keep breaking down just like other fiat crap the only vehicle in the fiat group which is very good is the Jeep range ,, so i would buy another Jimny and don't waist your money on a fiat
