Had a peak under the carpet in my boot and appears there's signs of rust in the corner!



Any suggestions what I can do to nip this in the bud?

Cut it out and weld new metal in

Thanks mate, only saw your thread talking about the boot, no pics or anything. Is that what you meant?

I'm hoping ill only need those two corner bits chopping out and patching!

Ah seen them now, cheers mate! Good job you did there!

I didnt think an 05 would suffer this issue but its spent its life by the sea which probably doesn't help!

Any idea what I might pay to have to have this repaired? I don't weld etc myself

I was quoted about £350 for a much worse case of rot.
