hich one did you go for greame ? Ive just ordered a mounting plate for my winch going to fab that in,im also changing the steel rope to a synthetic one, doing bit by bit with mine.

Do you mean which wireless remote? If so it is Winch It own make. The reason for the wireless remote is I had to relocate the solenoid pack as there wasn't enough room for it. I have put in under the bonnet which means if I were to use the cable control I would have to open the bonnet! I have also swapped to synthetic rope. There is a lot of info saying that heat is a problem so I have sourced some very high heat protective sleeving to cover the first layer of rope. My rope did come with heat sleeving but isn't long enough for my liking so gonna order some :)

yea was just wondering which remote controller you went for,im going to have a play about with my solonid box and see if i can mount it higher up,going to keep the wired control aswell but want a wireless one then if that fails have the wired one as a back up.

Yup that's what I have done, keeping the wired remote in the car as well as the two wireless remotes. The item number for the wireless kit I bought on ebay is 281028500232. It's the same company I bought my rope from.

OMG, took the drum off expecting to find 20 years of decay and was faced with this.

Brand new!! Incredible especially after I had been working on the King Pins and the front caliper showed mucho decay!

Everything was working fine. Even if I had checked the rear brakes before the MoT I would not have been able to see the real performance without a rolling road.
I bet you can guess what it might be. I can't check to see if I have actually sorted it until I can get back to the garage and re-test in the dyno.

Now don't let it go to your head Gary ;) I don't like to mention it but I my bike was featured in Streetfighter magazine 3 years ago. The fame is ok at first but when you can't walk down the street without people asking for your autograph it can become tiresome even for someone as wonderful as me :P :silly: so just try to keep your feet on the ground B)
