yea was just wondering which remote controller you went for,im going to have a play about with my solonid box and see if i can mount it higher up,going to keep the wired control aswell but want a wireless one then if that fails have the wired one as a back up.

Which one did you go for greame ? Ive just ordered a mounting plate for my winch going to fab that in,im also changing the steel rope to a synthetic one,doing bit by bit with mine.
Do you mean which wireless remote? If so it is Winch It own make. The reason for the wireless remote is I had to relocate the solenoid pack as there wasn't enough room for it. I have put in under the bonnet which means if I were to use the cable control I would have to open the bonnet! I have also swapped to synthetic rope. There is a lot of info saying that heat is a problem so I have sourced some very high heat protective sleeving to cover the first layer of rope. My rope did come with heat sleeving but isn't long enough for my liking so gonna order some

I suppose any fail is bad news but it's not really that bad thanks. OSR foot brake inefficient and too low. Didn't know what to expect as only had it a few weeks. Should be fixable as I'm expecting a piston to be seized in the slave hence a reading of 40 compared to 100 on the other wheel. Getting the hammer out in the morning. :laugh: Good job I did the Kingpins. :laugh: :laugh:
