Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum particularly if contacted by a Private Message

My guy does that anyway. I've been going there for about 15 years and they are the nicest you could meet. He no more wants to fail me than fly to the moon and it's better to have a quick check than sit at a computer for hours . The difficulty is that they are not just round the corner.
I didn't have any tools with me this time but in the past I've often tinkered there and then to put right whatever.
If what I have done now doesn't do the trick then I/we have no idea what else to try.

This was what I was thinking.
I don't know how long the O/S/R brake has been like this but surely it would have been checked after installation. Incidentally, the last 'keeper' (she sold it at the end of 2012 - God only knows who has had it in the interim year) had all work done at Halfords. I'll say no more.
So ¼" is enough, excellent thanks.
A little edit...........how can a brake not be bled correctly, it is a Mickey Mouse task unless I am missing something. :laugh: :laugh:
