I guess I need to bite the bullet and get me hands dirty. So yes.

I took the shockers off today........took ages
cos I reckon they were on when it was built in 1997.......and then decided not to drive it as it was bouncing like a funny ball at the slightest touch. :ohmy: Sooooo I put them back but swapped them and turned them through 180° as well. Also I thoroughly cleaned the fittings, threads etc. in case I have to return to this soon. Guess what.............the knocking has gone!! Go figure. :whistle:

I wonder how long the "fix" will last. It is amazing how quiet the motor is now that the constant rattling has stopped. I now realise it was a tiring noise.
