Gp just rang. I can drive! Hurrah!

Like you wouldn't believe! It's been such a long time coming too!

When it happened and I couldn't see anything to my right I thought id never drive again, I'd lost my career, therefore my house and hobbies. I am lucky to have had a full recovery.

I went to the Dr on Monday expecting him to authorise me to drive but he refused until he could speak to my neurologist. I had set myself up to drive then, just to be disappointed. He said he'd phone yesterday but didn't, so I've been anxious. Then at 07:36 today he called with the news!

So I have 3 insurance companies to update and hope not to be charged more by and then I have the exciting first drive into town to take the Mrs shopping! I know how to live!

Thank you Dear Sir! I shall, no wheelspins or handbrake turns for today anyway!

Well no charge from the Jimny's Insurer - Cherished, the Fiesta's Insurer Allianz or the Mrs BMW Insurer Admiral!

Now that's handy just before Christmas I can tell you!

I am officially a very happy boy!

I hope the Fiesta and Jimny are OK now as neither has been driven for over a month! They have had their batteries topped up so they should be fine! Some fresh fuel will be a good idea though. The Fiesta the Mrs ran dry but the Jimny has a bit in it I think.
