It certainly was, although according to the map, it was taken slightly further up than where Fell Green Road is located, but it is probably all the same lane.

It looks like they might have done some filling in since you went up.

I'm impressed at how good the 360 camera is at getting rid of it's stick! (Even if it doesn't realise it should get rid of it's own shadow too)

I've seen some videos where the picture breaks up along the line of the stick.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

They seem to have come on a bit.  I do have a Samsung Gear 360 (2017) but it’s no where as clever as my new camera.  This video was shot with a DJI Osmo 360 on an aftermarket (cheapo) 4m pole, it was using 8k video and gets rid of the selfie stick in real time.  The software has also come on, I can generate a 360 degree video where you can turn round, but the software also allows me to decide on the framing and zoom level, providing a slow transition between different views.  You can just throw the camera out somewhere, not worry about angle and sort it out later.

Hi Robin. That’s an impressive bit of kit.

It was good to meet you on the Coast to Coast trip and great to have two near identical blue Gen4 Jimnys out on the lanes together.

It was April 2024 when that picture was taken.
