A video from my recent trial with the North East 4x4 group. This time it was in North Yorkshire near Helmsley.

I spent Sunday 1st June with the North East 4x4 club on the lanes of Northumberland. Starting near Wylam, we took the back roads and lanes up to Kielder and then back via Wark and Chollerford.
We finished off with the Chollerford Steps, the first big step was straight forward, but the following lane was very rutted with big rocks in the tracks which caused my Jimny a few issues.
With a bit of help from the others we got my Jimny down and apart from a few scrapes to the under-body protection there was no damage.

That angle when one wheel was in the rut looks ...fun

My Jimny was leaning a little bit to the left when the Landy LWB was leaned over to the right, so it was perhaps slightly less, but yes an extreme angle and my Jimny lent over nearly as far at the same point. I didn’t do any damage apart from a few scrapes to the underbody protection, but not sure I want to go down that one again without a lift. That angle when one wheel was in the rut looks ...fun
