So does it wobble on the way up to 60?
Sticky calliper usually reduces efficiency.....steering may be affected.....may even pull to one side.
I warped a pair of fronts within 300 miles on mine....it's better with vents and Vitara callipers for sure.

Ever so slightly, hardly noticeable...
I don't want to jinx it but I just went out and popped the pads out and greased the little ends where they bite in the stainless bits with CV grease and it hardly wobbles at all now after a short run!!?
Could it really be that simple could have had some crud jamming em maybe or maybe I've just coincidentally fitted the wheels in sync and it'll come back but it gives me new hope that it's not the radius bushes or one of the other 50 possible causes...
Fingers crossed...

If the discs cause that kind of violence I would sell the car tomorrow lol, I changed them cause I knew they were warped. Me and the missus are really good and never sit on the brakes at junctions ect, I informed her hot spots on the pads will warp them...
Might add the vitara stuff though, like an idiot I just cross threaded a calliper slider bolt grrr.
What year vit and are they direct fit just calliper and disc?
Got it in but I think it will snap next removal.

Cheers Keithy, so what year are we talking vit wise?
Still leaking a little bit out of the passenger half shaft... really hoping it's just the bit that's smeared inside but not optimistic.
Not really sure what's causing that, CV and bearing seems good, kingpins are new...
Circlip is a bit bent but still on there pretty good....
I've read about issues with leaking oil seals there, can be a sod right?

Not sure on the year of Vit I seem to think they were early long wheelbase.... as I scrounged these for free...due to services rendered....they take the same pads as the wife's Vitara which is a 2005 3 door....Mintex MDB1690 but as I remember... they aren't the same calliper...Next time I take a wheel off I'll pay more attention!
Not so sure anything on a Jimny is tricky....they seem pretty simple to me which is one of the main reasons I bought one....I changed the wheel bearings, kingpins and shaft seals a few years back and they haven't leaked anything out.....yet!
