No it's not random. There are specifically two types. One with nuts and one without. You can see both types (both genuine Suzuki) in the bigjimny store. Either take a look underneath your car or send over your vin or registration and I will tell you.

I know it is 2 types :) Just wandering if they were used randomly in the production, or if it was changed at a certain year/model/engine. Sending you a PM with my vin :)
