Just a couple of points. First if money is tight you can re-glue the rubber back to the mounting or you can order one off the internet a bit cheaper. The one I got did not have captive nuts for the chassis mount bolts but I just used a couple of new bolts with lock nuts.

I'm not sure I'd be happy glueing it....but it's worth a go I suppose. The part from the dealer was only about £30 though so that's not going to break the bank....that had the captive nuts all on there ready so less faffing.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Nice video.
The captive nuts are the difference between the "Genuine Suzuki" and the "Genuine Suzuki from China off eBay" part.
When I did mine I tightened the centre bolt, then pushed the gearbox up and dropped it down to see how far out the holes were, then I slackened off the front engine mounts and moved the gearbox until I could lift and drop it and the holes stayed in line.
Then I tightened the fronts and fitted the rear bolts.
I reckon any misalignment will strain the rubber and make it break again- I want at least another 15 years out of it
OT, but I bought a set of "Genuine Suzuki" transfer box mounts cheap, and they were boxed and hologrammed Maruti - made in India!

Is it random which mount that is used? Do I have to go under the car to check which mount I have to order for my g13bb jimny?
