King, ome, dobinsons all have known rates for their springs. You just gotta ask for it. And I know OME have 2-3 different rates for the Jimny.

But they're all linear springs. Only progressive springs for Jimny I know if are made by Zanfi. But they do not list anything about springs rates. But perhaps you just have to ask for it.

My setup with trail master springs and Bilstein shocks works very well. Would never go for cheap Noname springs.
Read on the bits4vits blog that his jimnybits springs had sagged 1-2 cm in only a year.

Here you can see all spring rates available from ome for the Jimny

But if you really want progressive springs, by l perhaps it's worth contacting Zanfi.

Tom

Thanks for the link. It covers what I wanted to know for the OME springs. I just couldn't find any download links for specs on any of the sites. I will wait for the other vendors to respond but will likely still lean toward OME.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Let us know what you find out. You could also consider Hot bits suspension. They make some excellent shocks for the Jimny. But it's racing suspension :)

At the time when I decided by OME, I was not able to receive a response from the Australian representative. As the US ARB is responsible to Brazilian market and they haven´t hands on experience with the Jimny, they almost sent me the wrong springs, as left hand and right hand springs had different sizes (in only one side). The set up is better than stock with the 2965 (heavier) springs, but it´s better feel when the car in full (heavier). I still looking to put steel bumpers and will probably have the same problem....Thnking if trailmaster would have been a better choice.

regards,

Nelson

Except for OME, I finally did receive a response from the rest of the manufacturers I originally contacted. TomDK's link gave me the OME data I wanted. After his comments, I decided to also contact Trail Master. I sent them a message a couple of days ago and, after I have an answer, will post the information for each company. If you ever decide to change springs, the information should be helpful.

Remember it's the Trail Master business I'm Germany you need to contact. Not the US one :)
