Hi mate thanks for asking.
Have spoke to our helpful Russ (jimnybits)
And he is filling out a warranty form to send to t-max. :)

he says although if they check it and it's water damaged there is not much he can do :(


Just have to wait and see if guess.

I would a thought tho that winch would be expected to get a bit wet but hay.

I know that the solenoid that came with it ought to work ok but I really think Albright Solenoids are an upgrade every 4x4 winch owner should seriously consider.

The waterproofing and reliability is second to none and just saves any worrying.

Maybe something to consider for the future.
